Great Glen Challenge 2023

We are delighted to announce we will be entering a team into the Great Glen Challenge 2023 to help raise funds for the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution – RSABI. The event will take place on Friday 25th August. Established as a unique one day team challenge for rural businesses and organisations, teams will compete against each other along designated stages between Fort Augustus and Fort William, covering a 49 km route. Competitors cycle, kayak, walk and run to a prize-giving reception at Neptune’s staircase/ The Mooring’s Hotel at the end of the route.

The event activities comprise of –

–     49km mountain bike Fort Augustus to Benavie
–     6km kayak along Loch Oich
–     18km walk from Invergarry Link to Clunes
–     17km run from Clunes to Neptune’s Staircase

RSABI provides practical, emotional and financial support to all people involved in the Scottish agricultural industry. Support includes Help for Heating, counselling and one-off payments for essential items like household items. They support people of all ages, including those affected by illness, accident, bereavement and those struggling with their mental well-being. The support is available to people previously or currently involved in farming, crofting and occupations related to agriculture in Scotland.

We really need your help to raise as much as possible for this wonderful charity and to encourage our competitors as they race to get fighting fit. Follow us on social media or search for #GGC23 for updates on our progress.
