We are delighted to welcome financial planning specialist Gary Stirling to our Wealth Management Division. His appointment as the firm’s third advisor heralds our drive to increase the services offered and extend our reach across Fife and the Lothians.

Gary has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance and wealth management industries, latterly as a Senior Financial Planner with Condies Wealth Strategies in Dunfermline. He has extensive experience as a company director having previously run his own consultancy firm, and is a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute with professional qualifications in Financial Planning, Mortgage Advice and Regulated Customer Care.

The wealth team features Head of Wealth Management Bruce Hendry and  Chartered Financial Planner Richard Libberton, both of whom are Fellows of the Personal Finance Society. Bruce is a Chartered Wealth Manager and has been involved in lecturing at Edinburgh and Dundee Universities.  Richard is the Scottish Chairman of the Personal Finance Society and a vigorous advocate for diversity and improving standards in advice. They each have considerable depth and breadth of knowledge in portfolio and investment management and are supported by a skilled administration team.  In 2020, we were featured in the Top 20 in Scotland list of financial planning and wealth management firms by leading industry publication New Model Adviser, galvanizing our reputation for providing high quality advice and customer service.

Head of Wealth Management Bruce Hendry commented, “Gary is a valuable addition to our established team with his expertise in personal and corporate financial planning.  He will enhance our capability and reinforces our ambition to capitalise on new opportunities. We have a strong base of personal and corporate wealth management clients and funds under management have flourished in recent years. I believe there is significant potential to extend our reach, with scope to increase the services offered to appeal to new and existing markets.”
